OUR FOUNDER Susan A. Rice, Ph.D., has more than two decades of consulting experience in toxicology and pharmacology, and has been consulting on a full-time basis since 1990. She previously performed laboratory and clinical research as a faculty member at the Stanford University School of Medicine’s Department of Anesthesia. Dr. Rice is a member of the American Society of Anesthesiologists, the American Society for Pharmacology and Experimental Therapeutics, the Genetic and Environmental Toxicology Association, the Society for Neuroscience, the Society of Toxicology, and the Teratology Society. She also served as president of the Neurobehavioral Teratology Society, and is a diplomate of the American Board of Toxicology. She holds a doctorate in comparative pharmacology and toxicology and a bachelor’s degree in biochemistry from the University of California at Davis. |
